Abbey Falls
It is located 8 km from our homestay. The water cascades over rocks to calm pools. A hanging bridge constructed comes in handy to view the falls. There is a Kali Mata temple on the other side of the bridge and access is through a Coffee estate.
Bylakuppe
Bylakuppe near Kushalnagar is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in south India. The gold-coated Buddhist statues in the monastery are imposing and unique, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Tibetans. The statues are of Guru Padmasambhava, Buddha Shakyamuni and Amitayus. They make handicrafts, carpets and incense. Visitors can shop for various tibetan artefacts outside the monaster
Talakaveri
This is the birth place of the river Kaveri located on the eastern slopes of Brahmagiri peak at 1350 metres altitude. The river takes its birth from a spring which is connected to a small pond beside it.

Mandalpatti is one of the better known tourist spots in coorg. Once on the top of the hills the beauty of Mandalpatti is unwrapped. Makes for an ideal day trip from madikeri.

The Omkareshwara Temple is situated in the heart of the Madikeri. This temple dedcated to lord shiva and is built in its own unique style of architecture.
